How to keep Apple mail from deleting mails in my Yahoo Mail Plus Inbox folder on web after syncing?

Hi,

I have a Yahoo Plus account and recently synced it with my Mac Apple mail. After the syncing all my mail in my inbox are deleted. Please assist urgently. Since I do not trust any hardware to save my critical data and will be in fix if my Laptop ever crashes.

Microsoft Outlook Express for Mac

From the Tools menu, choose “Account.”

Select the “Mail” tab.

Select your Yahoo! Mail account and click “Properties.”

Select the “Options” tab.

In the Server Options section at the bottom of the window, check the box next to “Leave a copy of each message on the server.” If you don’t want to save messages on the Yahoo! Mail server, un-check this box. Close and Restart your Mail program.
