Why did my key fob and the lock button inside my BMW stop working after replacing dead battery? ?

Car is a 2006 330I with comfort access. The key fob only opens the trunk at this point. Also the lock/unlock button inside the car is not working, either.
Actually the key fob works; whats inop is the central lock/unlock button located in the dash.
I should say that the locks don’t open at all but other features of comfort access work, i.e. Key Fob starts car and opens trunk (both with ignition/buttons and just comfort access).

Call the dealership. Usually there is a code u put into ur key-less entry.
Just a sequence of buttons to push to activate your alarm again. Same thing happened to my Firebird. Took it to a dealer and hey said press these buttons and it activated the alarm.Good Luck.
