i dont know if you mean, if you waxed it before, and now you wanna clay, or do you have to wax in general

yes you should wax it
the clay is strong enough to take off particles stuck in dirt
im sure its strong enough to take off some wax too
and if youve never waxed your car before, start
protects the paint, and adds shine/hides swirls and scratches
makes it look 1000x better

also, wax isnt abrasive to the paint, the guy above needs to learn some thing
only abrasive wax is cleaner wax, and thats really really mild
wax though, is non abrasive, it fills in scratches/swirls, and hides them, but doesnt get rid of them
