Brand New O’Brien Program On TBS To Come Out Quickly

When O’Brien left “The Tonight Program,” a media storm was touched off. The media took shots at Leno, and supporters of O’Brien, or “Team Coco” as they call themselves, poured out support for O’Brien. It didn’t take long to discover a brand new job for him. Not long after he left NBC, a new program for O’Brien was declared for TBS. Monday, November 8, marked the debut of the brand new Conan O’Brien program.

TBS debuts Conan O’Brien

Since January, every person has tried to determine what Conan O’Brien’s next move would be. This all was because he left “The Tonight Show”. It has been common knowledge since April that he would be pushing back the George Lopez Show for a spot on TBS. The new show was to be called simply “Conan.” Since then, promotional spots have been regularly running, and fans are patiently waiting for the first episode. The first episode of “Conan” will air on November 8, at 11 p.m. Eastern Time, according to CNN. If you are planning on watching this show, check your local listing to make sure you know when and where it will play for sure as part of your area.

Controversy between O’Brien and Leno isn’t over yet

Conan O’Brien was passed “The Tonight Show” from Leno back in June of ‘09. The “Jay Leno Show” didn’t fare also as he had hoped and was slowly dying. Though the exact nature of the decision will never be known, it appeared that Conan O’Brien was being bumped from the traditional time slot of the “Tonight Show” at 11:35 p.m. to 12:35, for the sake of getting Jay Leno into better ratings. Leno had been a longtime star of NBC. O’Brien decided to walk away, but had to mostly stay off television for at least six months.

Anticipation for this new show

Everybody is expecting the new show to live up to its expectations. O’Brien has a huge fan base that has been anxiously waiting since January for his next more.
