How I started my successful home based cake decorating business

I was a stay at home mom of 4 children.  They are my angels, my love and my reason for living.  Having a lot of children is great!  Who am I kidding, I love kids.  But it is not always fun and games because more children = more financial pressure.   So before long, I knew I had to find a job to help with the bills. 

One Sunday, when I was googling for some stay at home mom jobs while the kids were all in bed, and hubby watching TV in the lounge, I came across this ebook, Cake Decorating Business Secrets.   Baking and decorating cakes have always been a passion of mine since young.  But I have never thought of turning this hobby into a business mainly because I do not have any knowledge of running a successful business.  But after reading feedbacks from many successful cake decorating business owners who claimed the book has helped them in starting their own business, I decided to buy the book.  After all, $47 is a good investment and hubby said it can be my birthday present.  And boy was it the best birthday present I have ever received!

The next four weeks was spent reading the book, and trying to take it all in.  I didn’t want to just skim through the book and call it a day, I was determined to make it work for me.  So I read the book carefully, tried to understand the marketing methods that the book outlined and followed everything step-by-step.  And in 2 months after I bought the book and within the first week of my business launch, I got my first order!  I didn’t even need to get a loan from the bank to start up this business.  How amazing is that?  All I spent was for buying some equipments from a factory outlet, advertising the business in local newspapers and sending out direct mails.  There are other marketing methods in the book which helped me generate thousands of dollars in pure profit and they cost absolutely little to none.  

And so after the first order, the second, the third and the fourth just came so easily and I am now making between $800 – $1500 a week from my home based business.
