US Army Infantry (11B) to Ranger to Delta??

I plan on enlisting in the Army as an 11B when I am 18 (16 now). Hopefully I will get an option 40 contract (guarantees Airborne and RIP right? and I don’t plan on signing a contract unless I get an Op40) and become a Ranger. Once I have Ranger school under my belt (up to 6 months after assignment to a Ranger Battalion) how many years should I wait before trying out for Delta (1SFOD-D or CAG or whatever people are calling them today)?
Its not an IF it is just a when I get to Rangers. I WILL become a Ranger. I WILL be a Ranger before Im 21…..I AM a Ranger.
