How do i wire a duel voice coil inside an enclosure box?

I didn’t know how to wire both voice coils so I only used on from each woofer and last night I almost burnt them out and had a terrible smell so I unhooked them and need a diagram or something on how to wire a duel voice coil on each woofer. Btw there 2 15s inside a ported box using 14 guage speaker wire if this helps.

You can technically use only one coil from each sub but it cuts the sub’s power handling in half. If you need a diagram to wire both voice coils go here http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp and put in your subs vc configuration and it will tell you how you can wire them.
