what is the best glue to use on a china figurine?

Other than super glue which does not allow enough time to align the join,what is the best glue to use on a china/pottery figurine?

I went to my local craft store (Michael’s) and they had a range of different glues for different materials. I bought one specifically for ceramic and glass – can’t remember the brand but it worked perfectly.

I have previously used araldite too. This is a great adhesive but it requires you to mix the glue with a hardener (from 2 tubes) and you often make more than you need for small repairs.

I’m attaching a chart I just found that lists other glues and shows which work with ceramics. Hopefully this will help.
