Foleded
Getting grease stains out, after they’ve already been washed and dried?

I work with kids at a childcare center. About 2 weeks ago I washed a load of clothes… in it was a t-shirt with my jobs name on it (i love my work shirts. its not manditory that we wear them, but I do love them!!)…. I took the clothes out of the dryer and foleded them very quickly and put them away. I just went to wear the shirt and noticed a TUN of what looks like oil/grease stains! I have NO IDEA what I could’ve gotten on myself the last time I wore it. I know that one of the parents brought pizza into the center as a special treat and I’m wondering if I got pizza grease on me from little greasy hands ;)

Anyways, has this shirt seen its last days? or is there something I can do to get the stains out after this much time. I dont have many clothes and I ruin so many things at work, I cant afford to keep buying new ones…but I can not wear shirts with stains on them either.

Thanks!

Might be worth ironing them, but put brown paper (or maybe kitchen roll) between the iron and the stain. The grease may well blot up. Failing that, buy one of the stain removers specifically formulated to get rid of stains. They’re called Stain Devils in the UK, but I’m guessing from your use of ‘gotten’ that you’re in the US. Good luck :)
