How to hook up subwoofer to a stock stereo with no amp?

I have a subwoofer. Its a really crappy 12. I just want to hook it up without a amp. I hooked it up but the vocals are still coming out of it. I want it to just be bass. No vocals. Can anyone tell me how to do this if its even possible.

not possible. you need an amp. any kind of amp would work. because ur h.u. only puts out 5-20rms to a channel and thats not nearly enough to have “bass”
