I got poked by an exacto knife today on my elbow and it feels like it hit the bone. do i need a tetanus shot?

I got poked by an exacto knife today on my elbow and it feels like it hit the bone. It really hurt when it happened and still does. do i need a tetanus shot? and does it hurt to get that shot?

It is probablt a good idea if you haven’t had one in the last couple of years. After all, its a lot better than getting a case of lockjaw.
