Why is the Yin Yang symbol on the flag for South Korea?
There’s the Yin Yang symbol in the middle, and then ䷕ and ䷟ around the side.. (yang is solid (⚊) and yin is broken (⚋)) but I was just wondering why? What does it symbolize?
White ground on the flag : Our spirit and the land of peace
Yin Yang : The sky and the ground, a Male and Woman, in this case it means Korean people
䷕ and ䷟ : The four trigrams, which means our goverment
basically, Yin Yang and trigrams have their separate meaning.
