Is Kenpachi Zaraki’s Zampakto always on Bankai ?

I’m a bleach fan. One of my friends said that Kenpachi’s sword is alwyas on Bankai or else itll break. Put in the show Zangestu said tyo Ichigo that do you hear the crys of his sword ? And how the one who only depends on himself blah blah blah….. So tell me is his sword always on Bankai ?

No, it’s like Zangetsu in that it’s always in it’s true form, and not sealed.
